Waiting for the others to arrive.Hash number 2 of our new hashing year. What could it possibly bring? We were assured that we didn’t really need any details, other than that it was very doable, all things considered. Poor Downward Dog was stuck in traffic, in possession of the front horn, luckily Yogi Beer stepped in with a whistle and offered to do the job, so at 5.15 off we toddled to little toot on the whistle!
Down the road we went, and at the housing we followed paper in to the left, along the fence and into the jungle. In spite of all the rain in the last couple of weeks, it wasn't toO slippery. First check was duly found and paper laid through.
More similar trails followed and I could see where we were going, and it was indeed a most doable and enjoyable run! 30 minutes saw us come back to the road for a short trot back to the tent. Perfect for this time of year as it’s getting dark by 6, and no one wants to be getting lost/going back in to find lost persons etc.
Hares Itchy Fit/RyvitaA canny little shout up followed. Hares were downed, horns were thanked - DD did make it and had caught up by first check, no FTGs but we did say ‘hi’ to Itchy Feet’s mum who was on her second H3 visit, Rush Hour received her 50 runs potty - well done Rush Hour! Many announcements were made, no hashit - even if we did find out that one of our GMs is a SCB, all followed be delicious chilli and baked potatoes! Thanks hares for the run and the food. We’ll be getting a bit festive this week now we’re in December, hope it’s as enjoyable as last week. On on!
