Trailblazer,
Never Wrong, Chi & Jessie set a run that as one Hen declared
“Knew it was you Trailblazer as soon as all the mud started!” Out
in the moonscape of the back of Mata Mata and Rimba where sadly the
landmark, The Big Chook has been removed, the hens took off. Still,
it’s a good site for the walkie talkies and the “Orthopaedic
Hobblers” including moi. A few hills, some bracken and some slippy
sliding, with some dry fast track to challenge the hashers - a quick
one for the front runners who were in and out in good time. Rain
stayed away which was a thank-you to the heavens. The next challenge
was to find the On-On which, with great directions, was easily found.

Sadly we again had to say our goodbyes,
this time to Sticky Rice, Hilary, and Zur. Sticky Rice hankering for
The Green Isle but getting Old Blighty, Hilary on her way to Middle
East and Zur for a well deserved holiday. Jessie and Sticky Rice
were up again to get their 50 and 150 run awards respectively. Then
Jessie AGAIN to be named Riper, Hilary as Lady on Loan (LOL) and Zur got the moniker of Whodini much later in the evening post shoutup.
Zur getting her hash handle... "Who Dini"
Hashit was collectively taken by
naughty hens who knelt, squatted or dipped to willingly take the
water – thank you JMs for the CHILLED water.
Great tucker again – curry home made by Chi and bagels (by Jessie) to mop up the sauce together with rice
with salad. We are so spoilt on the ladies hash.
This week’s at run DST. Hens and of
course New Zealanders, here’s your chance to catch those pesky
possums. A good walk for everyone.
NEXT RUN: DST
