RUN NO. 2491 DIPLO 17MAY16

RUN NO. 2491
DATE: 17 MAY 2016 \
SITE: DIPLO - RED DRESS RUN
HARES: TTOES/SQUEAK/PSYCHO/RIPPER

RED DRESS RUN lived up to its name with lots of GIVING and JOY, especially those pissed hares as well as those overtly sexy male guests and members in their finest Reds.

The run was led by front horn Mean Machine with both first and second check found by Mr Yogi Beer. Back Horn Full Steam Ahead was also awarded with her 50th run during shout up.  Other celebrations ensued with best dressed H3 guests and members being awarded for their lovely effort.

H3 guests: Wannabe/Mr Chips/Mufasa
H3 members: Mrs Pingu (cheekily flashed the GMs)/Sam I Am/Never Wrong

In the spirit of the Red Dress Run, hashit veteran Peachi Keen kindly paid a donation instead of being doused in icy water. There was a guest lady hasher but she left before the shout up.

We were spoilt with drinks and food! Hashers were greeted with lively music and a deadly concoction of punch (spiked by the hares) at the camp site near the end of the run.  Heading to the tent, hashers were greeted with the heavenly smell of sizzling bacon by Making Bacon as well as other scrumptious food and luscious cakes brought for the pot luck.

It should be mentioned that Psycho need to call Panda Bear to pick her up as she was smashed even before she got out of the jungle.

(In case you are missing these guys this week, they are having fun at the World Interhash in Bali)

NEXT RUN: LUCKY GARDENS - Park sensibly and bring your own chair., mosquito repellent as there are lots of mozzies.
There will be a short run and a long run - bring your torch.

RUN NO. 2490 SPG 378 SG AKAR 10MAY2016

RUN NO. 2490
DATE: 10 MAY 2016
SITE: SPG 378 SG AKAR
HARES: GINTRAP/GERI/LYKKE

Hens started off H3 by slowing down traffic along Jalan Sg Akar/Subok as they gathered for their usual weekly affair.

Up that steep road we go to get to the green bits....up a little more then down down down....which could only mean one thing.....ups....but first....some water crossings....lots of leaves on the ground.....hanging on to passing trees and plants as we make our way carefully down trying to make sure we don't fall.....Pedigree Pup behind me announced that she's had a few falls already despite the help of her walking stick.....then we got to THE UP! And in my words of my friend who shall not be named...it was not one "f-off" hill......but 2 and the last one had us doing vertical bear crawls....once we got to the top, there was no question that we would not be turning left for an extra "up to 3km" but taking a right to "exit".

Sorry did not manage to catch who found checks (oops!) but Ryvita was front horn and Tiger Moth was back horn which they have both dutifully passed on.

On we trooped post run to have our last on-on at Gin Trap's house before she moves. We were greeted with appropriate shots and freaking awesome nachos and dips. I do hope the recipe is in this weeks words (Hint HINT!!).
Hares

Shout up was a pretty uneventful with no FTG, no new members, no awards....then we hit announcements and there was a scrabble for who goes first! Kids hash on Sunday 15th, Psycho and MGTS has more book making workshops and another retreat, ISB still collecting items for kids to bring to Vietnam, Ripper has a pair of TOMS for sale (US size 9), Black Beauty needs a home for her puppy for a week during the holidays and Alison would like people to please bring any G&T cups they have at home back to hash.....
JMs in action

Psycho with her birthday treat

oh yes and H4 red dress run is on Friday 13th (oh doesn't sound like a good idea now does it?). Hashit offender was not present so that is being saved for another day.

Next week's run is the RED DRESS RUN.  Men are allowed only if they wear a red dress...do please wear a red dress or something red post run for the occasion, bring a donation for charity and most importantly BRING A PLATE (with something on it of course). Looking forward to a great time. See you all there!!

RUN NO. 2488 DIPLO 26APR2016

RUN NO. 2488
DATE: 26 APR 2016
SITE: DIPLO - KINGS RUN
HARES: HASH HOUND/ICEY BITCH
FRONT HORN: PEACHI KEEN    BACK HORN: SAM I AM

It’s Holland King’s day run and ORANGE was the theme colour!!
We arrived at Diplo with a stench of burnt wood and ashes from a recently put-out fire at the area.

The run was hared by our Dutch members, Hash Hound and Icey Bitch all well prepared, and waiting for us with big smiles, and with refreshment in one hand a fag in another!

The front horn was blown by Peachi Keen, someone said it sounded like a cow in labour or something like that.... but GOOD ON YOU PEACHI  for at least attempting the new horn!

We started our run... with a slight hiccup about someone having to move her car cos the caterers couldn’t drive through...

So in we went following the orange laid trail... up a hill and soon enough it was first check in blue and red papers... found by Mean Machine.

On we went through some streams and hills. Second check was found by Lykke and third by Speedy Gonzales.  I didn’t get to find any Orange ribbons along the way cos I was way behind and too preoccupied, trying to get up the steep hills, with my wet feet.  Anyway the ribbons were found by Ryvita, Mean Machine and Speedy Gonzales, who each received lovely Dutch plastic flowers at the end of the night.

At the shout up, Bunny Girl announced that Mad Marg, a previous hen who moved to Dubai, was critically ill.  Let’s all include her in our prayers for a speedy recovery. On a lighter note, Led Astray received her award for 50 runs! Woohoo!!

3 members got Hashit this time: Peachi Keen for not showing up with both horns last week, Mean Machine for leaving her tiny bikini bottom behind last week and not sure why Where’s Wally got it.... probably for leaving something behind too... (her sandals.. ed)  All well given by Tiger Moth!

Food was delicious. .. I was glad to eat anything with Nuttella! Thanks ladies, for the lovely run and food!

Next week’s run is at the U-turn near ISB traffic lights at Menteri.  Please park sensibly and avoid blocking cars trying to make the U-turn.  Onon is at Glamour’s house - Please bring your chair.

NEXT RUN: MENTERI WATERFALLS (NR UTURN BY LIGHTS)

RUN NO. 2487 TJ BUNUT KANAN 19APR16

RUN NO. 2487
DATE: 19 APR 2016
SITE: TJ BUNUT KANAN (BRITISH RUN)
HARES: BUNNY GIRL/PEE WEE/HOTLIPS/RACHEL/LASSIE

Last weeks hash, well as I was combing the ruins of Angkor Wat and seeing the sun setting over some extremely dry landscape I assume you all made your way through traffic down to Sleezies where the usual 5.15pm horn was sounded to send all hens into the jungle.

Hares

Whilst the TukTuk was sending us back to Siem Reap I could imagine the hens slipping and sliding over dry leaves and through the ups and downs of the wonderful jungle in that area, followed by the fire trail and down to the housing estate.

From the pictures a massive water fest had taken place, displacing some of the water but not nearly enough to flood Sleezies patio, so I'm guessing you all slid in nicely and no water bombs were displaced.

Debbie with Peahen

Hash shop seemed a lot of interest from various hens, well done ladies!

A welcome back to Possum, back for an English night all the way from Ozzie.

Was it a quiz I saw in the hands of Ms Pingu? Who won I wondered?

Some newbie I assume, but beg your pardon I don't know her name.(FTG Christy..... Ed)

Cocktails by the pool

We had some singing!

Some winners who found flags in the jungle.

And from your commends I may assume the food was delicious! Have we ever had not delicious food at Sleezies? I can't recall any!

For next weeks (upcoming Tuesday) run we request you to wear the Dutch colors, which most of you should know isn't primarily the colors our flag but merely the colors of our Royal Family and therefore preferred orange!
It's the Dutch Kings Night, the day before the actual Birthday or our King which usually means loud music, massive flow of refreshment barrels, orange painted faces and Dutch finger foods. If we get that far you'll have to come and see.

The run will be at Diplo and with my back just holding up you can be sure it's not going too be a long run, so don't worry no more 7/8K this time around!

On-On and until than
HashHound

NEXT RUN: DIPLO (KINGS DAY)
HARES: HASHHOUND/ICY BITCH
